Surah 98
البينةAl-Bayyinah

بِسْمِIn (the) nameاللهِ(of) Allahالرَّحْمَٰنِthe Most Graciousالرَّحِيمِthe Most Merciful
لَمْNotيَكُنِwereالَّذِينَthose whoكَفَرُواdisbelievedمِنْfromأَهْلِ(the) Peopleالْكِتَابِof the Bookوَالْمُشْرِكِينَand the polytheistsمُنفَكِّينَto be abandonedحَتَّىٰuntilتَأْتِيَهُمُ(there) comes to themالْبَيِّنَةُthe clear evidence
Those who disbelieved among the People of the Scripture and the polytheists were not to be parted [from misbelief] until there came to them clear evidence
رَسُولٌA MessengerمِّنَfromاللهِAllahيَتْلُواrecitingصُحُفًاpagesمُّطَهَّرَةًpurified
A Messenger from Allah, reciting purified scriptures
فِيهَاWhereinكُتُبٌ(are) writingsقَيِّمَةٌcorrect
Within which are correct writings
وَمَاAnd notتَفَرَّقَbecame dividedالَّذِينَthose whoأُوتُواْwere givenالْكِتَابَthe Bookإِلَّاuntilمِنfromبَعْدِafterمَاwhatجَآءَتْهُمُcame (to) themالْبَيِّنَةُ(of) the clear evidence
Nor did those who were given the Scripture become divided until after there had come to them clear evidence
وَمَآAnd notأُمِرُوٓاthey were commandedإِلَّاexceptلِيَعْبُدُواto worshipاللهَAllahمُخْلِصِينَ(being) sincereلَهُto Himالدِّينَ(in) the religionحُنَفَآءَuprightوَيُقِيمُواand to establishالصَّلَوٰةَthe prayerوَيُؤْتُواand to giveالزَّكَوٰةَthe zakahوَذَٰلِكَAnd thatدِينُ(is the) religionالْقَيِّمَةِthe correct
And they were not commanded except to worship Allah, [being] sincere to Him in religion, inclining to truth, and to establish prayer and to give zakah. And that is the correct religion
إِنَّIndeedالَّذِينَthose whoكَفَرُواdisbelieveمِنْfromأَهْلِ(the) Peopleالْكِتَابِ(of) the Bookوَالْمُشْرِكِينَand the polytheistsفِى(will be) inنَارِ(the) Fireجَهَنَّمَ(of) Hellخَالِدِينَabiding eternallyفِيهَآthereinأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَThoseهُمْtheyشَرُّ(are the) worstالْبَرِيَّةِ(of) the creatures
Indeed, they who disbelieved among the People of the Scripture and the polytheists will be in the fire of Hell, abiding eternally therein. Those are the worst of creatures
إِنَّIndeedالَّذِينَthose whoاٰمَنُواْbelieveوَعَمِلُواand doالصَّالِحَاتِrighteous deedsأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَthoseهُمْtheyخَيْرُ(are the) bestالْبَرِيَّةِ(of) the creatures
Indeed, they who have believed and done righteous deeds - those are the best of creatures
جَزَآؤُهُمْTheir rewardعِندَ(is) withرَبِّهِمْtheir LordجَنَّاتُGardensعَدْنٍ(of) Eternityتَجْرِىflowمِنfromتَحْتِهَاunderneath themالْأَنْهَارُthe riversخَالِدِينَwill abideفِيهَآthereinأَبَدًاforeverرَّضِيَ(will be) pleasedاللهُAllahعَنْهُمْwith themوَرَضُواand they (will be) pleasedعَنْهُwith HimذَٰلِكَThatلِمَنْ(is) for whoeverخَشِيَfearedرَبَّهُۥhis Lord
Their reward with Allah will be gardens of perpetual residence beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever, Allah being pleased with them and they with Him. That is for whoever has feared his Lord
