Surah 95
التينAt-Tin
The Fig · 8 verses · 34 words
بِسْمِIn (the) nameاللهِ(of) Allahالرَّحْمَٰنِthe Most Graciousالرَّحِيمِthe Most Merciful
وَالتِّينِBy the figوَالزَّيْتُونِand the olive
By the fig and the olive
وَطُورِAnd (the) MountسِينِينَSinai
And [by] Mount Sinai
وَهَٰذَاAnd thisالْبَلَدِ[the] cityالْأَمِينِ[the] secure
And [by] this secure city [Makkah]
لَقَدْIndeedخَلَقْنَاWe createdالْإِنسَانَmanفِىٓinأَحْسَنِ(the) bestتَقْوِيمٍmould
We have certainly created man in the best of stature
ثُمَّThenرَدَدْنَاهُWe returned himأَسْفَلَ(to the) lowestسَافِلِينَ(of the) low
Then We return him to the lowest of the low
إِلَّاExceptالَّذِينَthose whoاٰمَنُواْbelieveوَعَمِلُواand doالصَّالِحَاتِrighteous deedsفَلَهُمْthen for themأَجْرٌ(is a) rewardغَيْرُneverمَمْنُونٍending
Except for those who believe and do righteous deeds, for they will have a reward uninterrupted
فَمَاThen what?يُكَذِّبُكَcauses you to denyبَعْدُafter (this)بِالدِّينِthe judgment
So what yet causes you to deny the Recompense
أَلَيْسَIs not?اللهُAllahبِأَحْكَمِ(the) Most Justالْحَاكِمِينَ(of) the Judges
Is not Allah the most just of judges
