الفلقAl-Falaq
The Daybreak · 5 verses · 23 words
بِسْمِIn (the) nameاللهِ(of) Allahالرَّحْمَٰنِthe Most Graciousالرَّحِيمِthe Most Merciful
قُلْSayأَعُوذُI seek refugeبِرَبِّin (the) Lordالْفَلَقِ(of) the dawn
Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak
مِنFromشَرِّ(the) evilمَا(of) whatخَلَقَHe created
From the evil of that which He created
وَمِنAnd fromشَرِّ(the) evilغَاسِقٍ(of) darknessإِذَاwhenوَقَبَit spreads
And from the evil of darkness when it settles
وَمِنAnd fromشَرِّ(the) evilالنَّفَّاثَاتِ(of) the blowersفِىinالْعُقَدِthe knots
And from the evil of the blowers in knots
وَمِنAnd fromشَرِّ(the) evilحَاسِدٍ(of) an envierإِذَاwhenحَسَدَhe envies
And from the evil of an envier when he envies
