Surah 104
الهمزةAl-Humazah

بِسْمِIn (the) nameاللهِ(of) Allahالرَّحْمَٰنِthe Most Graciousالرَّحِيمِthe Most Merciful
وَيْلٌWoeلِّكُلِّto everyهُمَزَةٍslandererلُّمَزَةٍbackbiter!
Woe to every scorner and mocker
الَّذِىThe one whoجَمَعَcollectsمَالًاwealthوَعَدَّدَهُۥand counts it
Who collects wealth and [continuously] counts it
يَحْسَبُThinkingأَنَّthatمَالَهُۥٓhis wealthأَخْلَدَهُۥwill make him immortal
He thinks that his wealth will make him immortal
كَلَّاNay!لَيُنبَذَنَّSurely he will be thrownفِىinالْحُطَمَةِthe Crusher
No! He will surely be thrown into the Crusher
وَمَآAnd what?أَدْرَاكَwill make you knowمَاwhat?الْحُطَمَةُthe Crusher (is)
And what can make you know what is the Crusher
نَارُA FireاللهِAllahالْمُوقَدَةُkindled
It is the fire of Allah, [eternally] fueled
الَّتِىWhichتَطَّلِعُmounts upعَلَىtoالْأَفْئِدَةِthe hearts
Which mounts directed at the hearts
إِنَّهَاIndeed itعَلَيْهِم(will be) upon themمُّؤْصَدَةٌclosed over
Indeed, Hellfire will be closed down upon them
فِىInعَمَدٍcolumnsمُّمَدَّدَةٍextended
