التكاثرAt-Takathur

The Rivalry in world increase · 8 verses · 28 words

Bismillah
بِسْمِIn (the) nameاللهِ(of) Allahالرَّحْمَٰنِthe Most Graciousالرَّحِيمِthe Most Merciful
102:1
أَلْهَاكُمُDiverts youالتَّكَاثُرُthe competition to increase

Competition in [worldly] increase diverts you

102:2
حَتَّىٰUntilزُرْتُمُyou visitالْمَقَابِرَthe graves

Until you visit the graveyards

102:3
كَلَّاNay!سَوْفَSoonتَعْلَمُونَyou will know

No! You are going to know

102:4
ثُمَّThenكَلَّاnay!سَوْفَSoonتَعْلَمُونَyou will know

Then no! You are going to know

102:5
كَلَّاNay!لَوْIfتَعْلَمُونَyou knowعِلْمَ(with) a knowledgeالْيَقِينِ(of) certainty

No! If you only knew with knowledge of certainty

102:6
لَتَرَوُنَّSurely you will seeالْجَحِيمَthe Hellfire

You will surely see the Hellfire

102:7
ثُمَّThenلَتَرَوُنَّهَاsurely you will see itعَيْنَ(with the) eyeالْيَقِينِ(of) certainty

Then you will surely see it with the eye of certainty

102:8
ثُمَّThenلَتُسْـَٔلُنَّsurely you will be askedيَوْمَئِذٍthat Dayعَنِaboutالنَّعِيمِthe pleasures

Then you will surely be asked that Day about pleasure
